Why do I want a customer to renew?

Working with your customer to renew their Office 365 Home subscription:

  • Provides you the opportunity to sell them Office at any time, not just with a new PC.
  • Increases customer satisfaction and maintains their access to Office applications.

How will my customer know it is time to renew?

As your customer's renewal date approaches they will receive proactive reminders.

What do customers have to do?

  1. Purchase Office 365 Home from you.
  2. Go to Office.com/setup
  3. Enter the Product Key
  4. Sign in with their Microsoft account – the same one they used when the activated their subscription

What happens if they click "Reactivate?"

Pop-up appears with three options:

  • Buy: Online purchase from Microsoft
  • Enter Key: Where they enter Product Key from you in store
  • Sign In: Once they have reactivated their subscription, customers use this option to reactivate Office on a secondary device
